New project...Custom Portrait of Ethan

hi there! Sorry I haven't posted all week. Man oh man, things have been crazy! But hey, I have been painting and drawing a whole bunch so that's pretty much a dream come true. This is the portrait that I am currently working on for a customer all the way in Colorado:) How exciting! She just wanted a portrait in graphite pencil of her son. She emailed me the picture and i got started right away. This is the very first portrait in graphite pencil that I have done with a solid black background. That is why I did the background first...(so if it didn't turn out like I thought, i didn't have very much time invested), but I think the background is going to look really nice:)Can't wait to see how it turns out!
