100 Paintings in A Year

Someone once said, "An artist is only as good as the miles of canvas {she} fills." I guess that means I better start painting. Lately I have gotten caught up in only painting things for other people. While I love an appreciate all the commissioned projects that I get, I need to paint some things for me. Paint some things just for practice and just for fun. So, here is my goal: I am going to paint 100 paintings in the next year - in addition to my commissioned pieces. That means about 2 paintings every week...that's do-able! Hopefully this will help me really fine tune my painting skills. As I embark on this journey, please share your thoughts:)
