Graphite Drawing of Lady the Dog

Here's a portrait I finished this week of Lady the dog. She has almost all black fur which presents a unique challenge when you are working in graphite pencil. So may I just say, good lighting is key for every portrait. This is an 8 x 10 done on Bristol Board Paper and will look very nice in a cute little frame. Hope they enjoy it for years to come!
