New Project: Wedding Dress Paintings

I am so excited about this project! My client requested two oil paintings of his wife's wedding dress. One from the front, and one from the back, only here is the catch - he wants them to look like a designers original drawings of the dress would look. How fun!

The colors will be the colors of their wedding: White, black, champagne and crimson. They are 3 x 3 foot canvases so they will have a very nice wall presence. I have already painted the canvas several different ways to find the thing that is most like what I envisioned, this time, I used a palette knife and I love the texture! Can't wait to paint the actual design on them!
